Walls in the living area absorb light. Polished stone in the kitchen reflects it sharply. Specific spotlights highlight art or architectural features. This design guides the eye without continuous transitions.
Light actively defines every area of this room.
Design Philosophy
This design emphasizes direct illumination. It employs "Sculpted Light" to define space. Light acts as a bold, articulate force. Each luminous statement is singular and impactful, directly experienced within "Defined Zones."
Spatial Narrative
The eye moves from the softly lit living area. It settles on the dramatically lit dining table. These distinct light conditions guide movement through the space.
Light Study
Morning light reflects sharply off polished surfaces in the kitchen. Evening brings isolated, strong pools of light to specific zones. Each area maintains its distinct lighting quality throughout the day.
