Your eye is drawn immediately to the massive stone island, a central anchor. You move along its length towards the floating wood dining table. Here, you sit beneath the off-center linear light.
Light Study
Morning light filters through exterior glazing, highlighting the etched pattern on the concrete wall. As evening falls, the linear pendant casts a focused glow over the dining surface. Recessed ceiling lights provide soft ambient illumination.
Living Vignette
A single ceramic bowl sits on the live-edge dining table. Its form contrasts with the table's raw edge.
Material Palette
Dark Charcoal Basalt: Feels dense and cool, develops a subtle patina over time.
Light Honey Elm: Feels smooth and warm, deepens in color with age.
Raw Poured Concrete: Feels rough and solid, shows unique character as it ages.
