Design Philosophy
The design creates a sense of simultaneous past and future. It uses Scale Disruption with an oversized bed and undersized seating. Contrasting Eras appear through aged and futuristic materials. This combination disorients and grounds the viewer.
Spatial Narrative
Your eye first travels to the monumental light fixture. A clear central path draws you towards the bed. You settle onto low-slung seating, observing the vast mirror.
Light Study
Morning light enters from the large window, illuminating the raw plaster's texture. The reflective fabric panel catches and disperses this light. In the evening, the sculptural fixture casts a focused glow over the bed.
Living Vignette
You trace a finger along the cool edge of the polished metal bed frame. The oversized mirror reflects your own shifting perspective.
