Design Philosophy
The design redefines the home office through the direct manipulation of light. Translucent volumes replace solid forms, allowing light to literally sculpt the space. Ephemeral layering creates a dynamic depth, constantly shifting perceptions. Programmable light channels and scattering materials actively animate the entire room.
Spatial Narrative
Your eye first traces the shifting patterns on the translucent desk surface. You walk past layered screens that refract light and city views. You sit on the light-permeable banquette, surrounded by diffused light.
Light Study
Morning light streams through large windows, creating sharp refractions on dichroic surfaces. As daylight fades, concealed channels activate, casting programmed glows. Evening transforms the room into a canvas of subtle color shifts and defined light.
Living Vignette
Fingers tap on the frosted acrylic desk, illuminated from below. A sudden shift in the light redefines the outline of the city outside.
