The outdated beige tiles are replaced. Walls now feature large, matte concrete panels and polished dark gray porcelain. These surfaces texture and mirror the space. A seamless dark gray solid surface forms the vanity and integrated sink.
Linear LED strips etch light across surfaces, defining planes. The bathtub surround is matte dark gray, with a bright white interior. Fixtures combine brushed stainless steel and polished chrome. A dark gray micro-cement floor grounds the design.
The room is a study of surface and light.
Design Philosophy
This design uses 'Minimalist Sculpture' to shape the room. Surfaces and light redefine each other, creating visual depth. 'Materiality Studies' guide the choice of finishes. Distinct zones emerge from changes in surface behavior, not just color.
Spatial Narrative
Your eye follows the etched light lines along the walls. You step onto the uniform micro-cement floor. The seamless vanity directs attention to its integrated form.
Light Study
Morning light from the window casts sharp shadows, highlighting surface textures. Integrated linear LEDs etch planes across walls and ceiling. These lights create a distinct architectural glow in the evening.
Living Vignette
Water streams from the sleek faucet into the integrated solid surface sink. The brushed metal reflects the light in soft, muted tones.
Material Palette
Matte Concrete Panels: Feel cool and solid. They develop a subtle patina over time.
Polished Dark Gray Porcelain: Feels smooth and reflective. It resists scratches and retains its sheen.
Dark Gray Solid Surface: Feels dense and uniform. It resists stains and shows wear minimally.
