Spatial Narrative
Your eye goes directly to the timber-batten snug. You move through the dining area, choosing between an open seat or the enclosed bench. This layout offers options for engagement or quiet.
Light Study
Morning sun streams in from the patio, softened by the linen drapes. Skylights provide consistent ambient light throughout the day. In the evening, varied lighting zones highlight areas for dining or reading.
Living Vignette
A child traces the texture of the lime wash paint. An adult settles into the snug with a book, aware of nearby conversation.
Material Palette
Vertical timber battens: This rich wood lends warmth and visual structure. It deepens in color over time. Lime wash paint: Its subtle texture provides a soft, matte finish to walls.
