Design Philosophy
This design uses spatial sculpting to guide the room's experience. It creates zones of intimate enclosure. These then open into airy, expansive areas. Perceptual contrast defines the difference between these spaces.
Spatial Narrative
Your eye first lands on the deep blue brick wall and the enclosed lounge. You walk into this defined space. You settle into the sectional, then look out towards the expansive window view.
Light Study
Morning light floods the expansive window zone, casting soft, diffused illumination. Evening brings focused light to the lounge with recessed spotlights and a low-hanging pendant. Up-lighting along the far wall provides ambient glow to the open area.
Living Vignette
You read in the deep sectional, book in hand. Later, you watch the sunset from the clear windows.
