This space showcases honest materials and their natural evolution.
This space celebrates materials as they naturally age and evolve.
Design Philosophy
The design emphasizes Material Honesty. Surfaces reveal their true character and origin. Evolving Aesthetics allows materials to develop unique patinas. This space celebrates the beauty of natural wear and time.
Spatial Narrative
Your eye first draws to the prominent window. Sunlight illuminates the solid white oak dining table and banquette. Guests gather around the table for conversation and connection.
Light Study
Morning light streams through the window, highlighting the limewash texture. It brightens the dining area. Evening light softens, making the unlacquered brass glow and the room feel intimate.
Living Vignette
A hand traces the cool, smooth surface of the waxed white oak table. The soft leather of the banquette gives slightly as a guest leans back.
Material Palette
Limewash paint: It introduces soft, organic texture and deepens the walls with subtle variations. Unlacquered brass: It develops a rich, darkened patina with age, gaining unique character over time.
