Design Philosophy
This design uses light as a primary architectural tool. Phenomenal Illumination shapes how light interacts with all surfaces and objects. Spatial Narrative
Your eye first follows the broad light wash across the main wall. It then leads to the dramatically backlit bed frame, drawing you into the sleeping zone. The large mirror expands your view across the room, inviting movement.
Light Study
Morning sun enters diffused through sheer shades, bouncing off the mirror to softly illuminate the entire space. Evening light transitions to focused beams from spotlights and warm glows from LED strips, creating specific pools of light and shadow. The pendant fixture provides a consistent, ambient light.
Living Vignette
A focused spotlight illuminates the pages of an open book on the nightstand. The warm LED strip behind the headboard casts a soft glow on the pillows.
Material Palette
Polished chrome finishes: Chrome reflects artificial and natural light sharply, maintaining its bright, hard appearance over time.
