Bold Interruptions, Fresh Space

Office • 2070 Bush St, San Francisco, CA 94115
A sleek, electric blue credenza blocks traditional wood bookshelves. Chartreuse sheer fabric covers the window, casting a neon light. An overstuffed armchair in bold terracotta faces a corner, not the desk. Abstract art leans against formal wood paneling, defying its weight. Layered rugs create a dissonant floor pattern. A chrome strip cuts diagonally across the soft grey ceiling. This space challenges expected arrangements. It forces new visual interpretations of familiar elements.

Design Philosophy
The design utilizes Deconstructed Classicism. It breaks down traditional elements. Intentional Discord creates unexpected visual relationships. This process forces new interpretations of familiar forms.
Spatial Narrative
The eye first catches the bright blue credenza, interrupting the dark wood wall. It then travels to the off-center chandelier, pulling attention upwards. You walk past the corner-facing armchair, noticing the layered rugs underfoot.
Light Study
Morning sun streams through chartreuse sheers, casting a vibrant, almost neon glow across the room. In the evening, the uncentered chandelier focuses a sharp beam on the ceiling's chrome strip. Light becomes a deliberate element, shaping perceptions throughout the day.
Living Vignette
A hand reaches for a book on a blocked shelf, pausing at the credenza's unexpected presence. The user then turns to the oddly angled armchair, considering a different kind of rest.
Material Palette
High-gloss lacquered MDF: This material feels smooth and reflective, maintaining its sharp finish with minimal wear. Velvet upholstery: Velvet feels soft and rich, developing a natural patina with use over time. Polished chrome: Chrome is cold and reflective, retaining its shine without tarnishing.
