This design emphasizes Material Dialogue by thoughtfully juxtaposing textures throughout the space. It creates a continuous sensory dialogue where materials subtly reference each other. Spatial Narrative
Your eye is drawn first to the textured plaster wall defining the dining area. You walk towards the large dining table, your feet sensing the irregular texture of the rug. You settle into a dark leather chair, facing the layered raw wood and metal shelving.
Light Study
Morning light streams through the bifold doors, highlighting the varied texture of the accent plaster wall. Evening light from the pendant cluster casts soft pools onto the table, emphasizing material depths. Shadows deepen at sunset, revealing the rug's subtle, uneven weave.
