A large light fixture mimics a skylight above the island. Recessed linear lights wash vertical surfaces, adding height. Under-cabinet and toe-kick lighting define floor and counter planes. A light gray micro-cement floor enhances overall luminosity.

Morning light enters from the window, spreading softly across polished walls. As dusk falls, integrated lighting creates dramatic washes on vertical surfaces. Under-cabinet and toe-kick strips define distinct zones, adding depth to the room.
Living Vignette
A knife blade glints under the island's bright overhead light. Shadows disappear as ingredients are chopped on the luminous counter.
Material Palette
Polished plaster: Smooth to the touch, it reflects light softly, developing a subtle patina over time.
Matte white lacquer: This finish is smooth and resists fingerprints, maintaining its clean, muted appearance.
Light gray micro-cement: The floor feels cool and seamless, developing character with use without showing heavy wear.
